Lithium ion battery packs
have a high power storage density and are ideal for application where
weight is an issue. A 18650 lithium cell typically weighs 50gms.
A typical 12v 4Ah lead acid battery weighs 1.5kg. A equivalent is our
model AK3S2SJ lithium ion which weighs 300gms.
Lithium ion has a low self discharge rate so an unused fully charged
pack will still have full charge after 6 or more months!

Lithium
ion Battery Chargers |
These
lithium ion battery chargers are specifically designed for charging
lithium ion battery packs.. The output voltage rating is designed to
meet the maximum output voltage of the battery pack.. For example a
single lithium ion cell maximum voltage charge is 4.2V. The charger will
charge at 4.2 volts. The charger has an indicator led that is red when
charging and green when the cell is fully charged. It helps to eliminate
the risk of overcharging which could result in cell ignition and fire.
